Meet Maggie!
Hello all!
First off, I've decided to stop appologizing for the length of time between posts. I promise to post when I can... and when I feel like it. :-)
That said, I feel like posting again today, because Greg and I are thrilled to introduce our new little girl- Maggie!!!
She has already found her favorite spot in our living room: right between the sofa and the coffee table. How very much like a... cat.
Maggie's favorite chew toys include her giraffe striped fuzzy squeaky bone and Greg's socks. (Only as long as he's still wearing them, that is!)
All tuckered out on her first night home.
Maggie and her Greg, who is insisting on not being called her "Daddy" :-)
"Greg's girls." As it turns out, we have a lot in common: we have short attention spans and brown eyes (don't let the flash fool you!), we both love cheese and are really difficult to wake up in the morning! (I'll bet Maggie would sleep through her alarm, too.)
Our spoiled little girl. (Thanks to Kimberly, Chris and Abby for the kennel and the orange tiger!)
Who? Me... piddle on the living room carpet? Never! (Okay, so what if it was the VERY FIRST thing I did when Lizzie and Greg brought me home.)
That's all for now. I'm anticipating having more time to post over the next several months. In the mean time, here's the quick update:
-We're currently living in Saratoga Springs, NY, where Greg is finishing his nuclear training.
-"We" have ben assigned to the USS Dallas, a fast attack submarine homeported in Groton, CT.
-We are buying a condo in New London, CT and hope to move in the first week of February.
-Anyone capable of wielding a paint roller is invited to our move in party.
Beer and lasagna will be provided. :-)
There are other major happenings looming on the horizon, but I'll write more about those when we get there.
Love to all who read this.
